Lunch in Chantilly

L'Avenue Brasserie in Chantilly. The best meal I had on the whole trip.

This place was so lovely. They were welcoming and the service was great. I had a cheese burger and it was great! I questioned myself whether I should use my hands or cut it up. I went for using my hands. Mid meal, a couple sat down next to me. The man had the same and used fork and knife...what must they have thought of me?  This was dessert...Cafe Gourmand, it is not something I would normally order. 

It was a Monday. Normally, everything is closed on Monday's but this pace was packed. The hotel looks really nice.

Chantilly is a fancy place....tons of restaurants, most closed at it is winter but you could tell the town must really buzz in other seasons. There is the big famous chateau there but I had not patience for that.
