Withdrawl

I found this soda in the supermarket...for a good year I had a consistent supply of it. It is low cal and has a bite. I rarely drink soda even though I was raised on big 2 liter bottles of TAB...( awful stuff).

I am a Coke person and not a Pepsi person. My darling Father told me that on ships, if a big screw/bolt (?) is rusted and they can't get it open, they use Coke to burn away the rust....so, there is that!)

but, I rarely drink soda...but I found this and I kind of became addicted to it's bite. 

Then one day, I could not find it in the supermarket. ...so I waited and kept looking every time. 4 months have passed so today I marched myself up to the information bureau in the supermarket. This is not the first time I have approached the hard working women behind the big desk area. The woman looked friendly so I said, in French..."I will attempt this in French!" ( no real choice as few French people here speak english)...She pulled up a chair and had a big smile on her face in anticipation...so I went into my spiel ...can you get this soda back? So the woman pulled out a form and she talked me through it...the aisle it is in is Rayon Boissons...I knew what to write. They took my phone # and low and behold I got a call from them last night!

No more ginger beer! I am not sure if they are just not ordering it or the company is not making it any more. I was lucky to understand that it was the supermarket on the phone!

So now what? Ginger Ale is too heavy after this bubbly beer ( not really beer).

As an aside...when I was born, I had colic...I was very sick and my Father tried warm ginger ale, and it worked!...and that is all I have on soda.

So now I live with out Ginger Beer.
