A quick update…

Echograph tomorrow…hobbling around but doing ok. 

Sunday is the big La Colle Sur Loup Vide Grenier ( Open Grannies Attic)… It is the best one in the area and I go every year. It is always packed. The parking is impossible

so not sure I can go.

First weekend of April is the wine expo in Mandelieu. I have gone 2x with an American friend and we have a blast. `She happens to be here now.She is very verbose and likes to have a good time. We take the train and bus as there is wine tasting and wine drinking. She always buys many bottles…i’m off wine so not sure. She and her husband and their dog (!) are here visiting for 2 mos. staying in Nice. She speaks a handful of French words, her go to 

phrase is J’adore!…no one says that.

Lastly, I will be going to Sicily at the end of May. I will fly into Palermo and road trip the island. I have always wanted to go to Sicily. I plan on spending a few days in Palermo…I love the gritty Italian cities…then I will take a rental car and drive east to the Mt Etna / Catania area…I want to see the 2 little towns where they filmed scenes from the Godfather…1 and 2…That lovely dreamy sequence with Al Pacino when he was on the lam and the part where Robert DiNero falls in love with the tavern owners daughter,,,You can visit the tavern…It has memorabilia. 

There are fantastic archeological sites, Greek and Roman, and the sea. I may meet some Italian friends from Tuscany too.
