Today...5 hr hike with a chance to swim midway ....and lots of french.

My good friends Valerie and Karo Line...at this point we were off trail as I saw a field of flowers and butterflies. The are patient with me.

On the trail, looking towards the sea...my beloved Loup River cuts sharply through the rock.

 

I dropped a sneaker along the way so we had to double back instead of doing a loop.

Rooney forgot that he is a swimmer. It didn't take long till he remembered. I had planned on getting into the water butI lost one sneaker! I had brought shoes to get into the water. We had to backtrack to find!
