In France....you can be 14/15 years old and can drive a small low speed car without a license. This car is driven on the road with everyone else.
In Franc you can buy a tiny tiny car that has no pick up...very cute...like a wind up toy...but they are allowed on the regular roads....it's very annoying and I don't know why they allow it.
In the French language...Dogs / Animals have "poil"....I guess it would be fur. You don't use the word hair with an animal, no dog hair all over the car, but fur.
Young, new soldiers are called "Poilu
However, I learned today that dog legs and feet ( animal legs and feet) are called patte....All together they are called patte...I was speaking with a man and he said...your dog has long legs ( this is the kind of conversatations I have)...He said "patte"...I interpreted as feet. I know animal feet are called patte....I asked the man...do you mean legs ( jambe)? He said, in French, the leg and the foot are one thing...
I learn something new everyday.
Votre chien á patte longe.
