I buy "raw " butter here..."cru". It is the most expensive but I am trying to not eat processed anything. When I think of all of the margarine years of my childhood...I could cry over how unhealthy it was .So I buy Raw, unprocessed butter...a big rectangle of it. 250 gram..ALWAYS made in France.
It cost 3.25 euro...maybe $3.50 in US...I heard that butter costs $7 in the US?
I looked today and the middle priced everyday butter," President" pasteurized ( not raw) is 2.67 euro for the 250gram...Let's call that $2.90...always made in france.
