If you have any interest in WW2 battles, this book is excellent. You know "Band of Brothers"...well, this is the other soldiers dug in stopping the Germans from getting into Bastone for resupply and from breaking through to get to the sea and Antwerp...amazing stories of all kinds of mayhem from town to small town...incredible stories. I wish I had read this book before I visited this area...I would like to go back.
