Just arrived. I was in Reggio Emilia...I was looking for Parking and followed signs, suddenly, I was in the middle, pedestrian area. I couldn't get out till the end...people were all over the place.I had to drive through, in my rental car with a french license plate. Was the shame not enough? 88 euro in 5 days of receipt or else it goes up and up. I think this is a nasty thing that they do, they are looking to nail you in every way they can, then they threaten you and gouge...they sit back and collect the money. Just so wrong.
It took almost a year for the ticket to reach me. I am sure I will have some next year from this year. They have new no drive zones now...you can only drive if you are a local or have an emissions sticker...I have no idea, just trying to find parking...I think this must be the main industry in Italy.
