I love historical fiction. This is a very interesting story but the war across Persia and into Greece and Macedonia had me a bit befuddled. I don't know anything about this area and it's history and there is so much to know...I liked the story of the boy himself. This book, part 1, ends when his father, King Phillip (?) is murdered and a new king will have to be crowned. I will ready the next one eventually. I am in the midst of 3 series...2 intense, one lighter.
