Chrysanthemum dolls! I don't like dolls, never have. I do love chrysanthemums, Kiku in Japanese. The book that I am reading features a murder in a chrysanthemum garden with an exhibition of dolls set up in the configuration of an ancient Kabuki play...One head is an actual head of a victim!
