Glorious Super Early Spring Day on Col de Vence

Still so early. Just a bit of leafing out and my blue flowers are coming but very sparce. Should have driven up earlier to get lost in the fog...
We drove up in the fog and at the top it was nothing but blue....The Canadair planes were practicing for fireseason. You can tell by the colors....They are so close and circling. I believe in training. I think there is a drone on this shot too...see it?

I think it's this one...

Great website.

Still not sure where they are taking off from but very close to where we walk...I love to see them...

We couldn't do our usual loop as I heard bells clanking and sure enough, I could see sheep passing, perpendicularly...far enough away so we could be back track and be safe. I am very wary of the Patou dogs that protect them. The fog kept climbing up and blowing through.

and we ran into 4 horses with kids on them. I pull off to the side...not far...10ft? to let them pass. Rune is very good. He knows when I say "horseys" that there will be horses.
