2) Soup So awful here in France. I was sick over the last couple of days. I was dying for soup. The choices are so limited...lots of boxes of squash soup, Leek, weak chicken noodle, ancient vegetable soup. They have a lobster bisque that is horrible! The only one I can take is the cream of Cepes ( mushroom). They are scarce on the cream and have a funky taste. I may have solved the problem. I add milk and creme fraiche and it helps. I have to try with the lobster soup.
No oyster soup, nor Beef Barney, no Pepper Pot, no cream of chicken...verboten is Clam Chowder. There is a weak Minestrone.
But, I am soup deprived. I need to make some this weekend.
