Plum Confection

I find myself going back to certain imagery...I love these images that I see like they are big cakes.

It just reminded me...when I got married, I had designed a cake that was purple with gold detail. It came from a photos from a magazine I saw. It was a small cake with flowers like violets and anemones on it. It was a disaster...between the transport from Albany to Bennington where it melted ( I was married on June 1 so perhaps there was heat, I don't remember) to the care by the uppity chef at the venue, the cake was a loss. We still used it, but it was sad looking.
