Just another day at the supermarket.

I will do one "punte" ( as they call it in french) of strawberries. So fresh and people are crazed for them at this time of year. I am not keen on Sberries.I prefer dark blue or purple berries...less acid.





Garlic from Egypt! I chop it up, put it in a 1/2 shot of olive oil and shoot it before I go to bed.

How are these growing in Fra right now...must be in green houses.

I buy this french butter all of the time...freshly churned.

Sandy Carrots.( carrots grown in sand)..so soft to bite into.

I had never seen this before...It was a round plastic bubble filled with these shavings of cheese made to look like flowers...8 suro for one. A woman said to me...it is excellent cheese, but way too expensive. Swiss, Gruyere.






so beautiful. I would like to photograph it. They are very large...liken the size of a head and then add the top stems...what would I do with it? I am not much of a veg eater. I says its for salad mixed with other greens and cooked on pasta or in risotto. Does that sound like me? Maybe on pasta and maybe if someone made it for me and I was in Italy. It is beautiful.

This is my favorite shape of pasta. Mafaldine...It was sold out in the brands I usually buy. I am not really eating pasta but this shape is good!
